There’s some lead time before it kicks in, but it’s worth it!

You’ll need to shop around for someone to print the flyers cheap for you. They just need to be black on white. Or maybe it’s less expensive to run them off on your own printer. If you have a few hundred dollars to invest you can get a black only laser printer that is quite fast and does a great job.

If it’s too expensive, just work with less homes or less flyers per day.

Start with a big bold headline, something like:

“Financial Freedom is Just Round the Corner” _________________________________________________________

Then add some Bullet Points:

Would you like to:

” Earn Some Serious Money Part Time?

” Take a Holiday?

” Pay Off a Debt?

And that’s it? it’s a teaser not a “how-to” manual”? and it’s totally “Rejection Free”!

You just deliver the flyers like clockwork, 5 days a week, and wait for results. And while you’re doing it you get fabulously fit with a great suntan.

You might consider paying paper boys to deliver the flyers along with their papers? they’ll do it quite cheap. It all depends on your budget.

It takes about 7 to 10 flyers (or emails) for people to start responding, so that’s about 3 months before you get any action. But you’re not doing anything else about it except putting out the flyers and waiting.

Amazingly, results will start to flow in, first a trickle then a flood!

You can also use the Internet to create an endless flow of targeted qualified prospects that you can show your business to.

The Simplicity of Networking - Nine Steps to MLM Success

Why are some people successful while others aren’t? I mean we all know people who have made an amazing living out of network marketing. Take a walk around your local shopping mall during any weekday and you will see crowds of men and women who are not at work! They can’t all be shift workers? No, these people have worked out a way of having their cake and eating it too. They have balanced lifestyle with income. If you wander around our local malls you might just see me. I don’t look wealthy, but I am looking at my third luxury trip this year, and am no longer interested in a day job - because I don’t have to!

I have been in the MLM game for 10 years. I will qualify that in saying I made an attempt or two many years ago, but failed miserably. I swore I would never again chance my arm. Then I met this guy who wouldn’t quit. He kept at me and at me, trying everything he could to get me to a presentation. I purchased some products and they worked. My car had a 20% improvement in fuel economy and I thought everyone would want this product. So I took the plunge.

First month I made $15. Pretty pathetic, isn’t it. Many people I know never got past that, but I was no quitter. After all, I never made anything before! I started with market stalls and home meetings and after three months, I received a $400 cheque. I have never received less than that since.

Now, some 10 years later, the first company I joined earns me from $1,800 to $2,500 each an every month.

I added a second network, again starting from scratch. It took a long time to get going and now brings in $1,300 to $2,500 a month in regular income.

Last year, I was persuaded to join yet another company, with a product I see huge potential for, and this is already providing $3,000 to $6,000 a month regular income.

Now if you add this all up, you will see that I already earn more than most ever will in networking and I have done it three times. I actually achieved this with another company but the company failed!

If you are earning more than 6 figures in passive income, you can probably teach me a thing or two, but the rest of you may just learn something from my wisdom.

Here are some lessons learned.

1. You need a very special product. Everyone loves a story. Products that give real results for real people provide great stories to back up scientific evidence, etc. Each company I am involved with has a wonderful exclusive product. For most people, this is vital for success.

2. You need to believe in your product with a passion. What I know is that if you take one of the products I recommend over a period of time, you will feel younger, fitter, and have many of your health challenges disappear. What more can you wish for - something that really works! I am passionate about the product or I won’t promote it.

3. You need a way to find lots of interested people. I started with market stalls talking to hundreds of people to find one or two product users. Out of those who achieved results, one or two were interested in sharing their good fortune with others. Most talk to a few people in their inner circle and run out of steam. Remember, the first cheque was $15! What if I had stopped there and expected everything to roll on? So many quit because they can’t see beyond their nose!

4. You need vision. If you can build an organisation of 1, you can build it to 1,000, 10,000 or 100,000! It happens a layer at a time. It will only happen if your vision is big enough. That means every time someone says “yes” it is one more step to a $10,000 monthly income or whatever your goal is. Those who fail focus on product cost, not receiving more than their monthly spend, losing money on promotions, etc. If you have this attitude, change it or get out of the industry. It is pure poison! Focus on every successful step and train your mind.

5. Every now and then you will find someone who truly wants to change their circumstances. These are people who are willing to go out in the world and do what it takes. They have enough vision not to quit. They have enough desire to ignore the present and build a future. Clue - I am one of those people!

6. You bring in as many product users as you can find and enroll them in your business if possible. When someone puts up their hand for help in contacting others, you work with them until their business really gets going. Just three people helped this way are enough to build your fortune.

7. You invest money, time and resources in your leaders. You encourage them to get Personal Development and business training. You get them to company meetings. The right person will get to a point where they see the big picture and will then operate independently of yourself.

8. You help each of your leaders teach and train 3 of their own. This is leadership development.

9. Do this for one more level and then support your independent team and watch your growth soar!

I did this, and each time it has worked for me, even after 10 years or more.

Networking Versus Network Marketing

What’s the difference between networking and network marketing?

Years ago when I first started in network marketing, I read a book by a lady from Malaysia who left corporate office to join the multi-level marketing industry. And I always remember what she wrote, though this may not be in her the exact words:

- Did you work hard enough?

- Did you network hard enough?

- Did you think hard enough?

What Is The Meaning Of ‘Network Marketer’?

I thought what she wrote was rather profound and in fact, I often ponder over the meaning of ‘network marketer? which is made up of two root words: networking and marketing.

Today, let’s discuss the first root word: ‘networking? which is totally different from network marketing. What’s the difference? More on this later.

I came across many network marketers who do not network due to a lack of knowledge of business networking which can be defined as a group of people having some kind of commercial relationship such as the relationships between boss and employee, buyer and supplier, and colleague and colleague.

Networking experts say that business networking functions best when individuals offer to help others to find connections, rather than just “cold-calling” on prospects.

On the other hand, network marketing in a nutshell refers to the ‘word-of-mouth? method of marketing products and services through a network of customers or distributors.

If you’re wondering: What has networking got to do with network marketing?

My answer is: A lot.

That’s because each of us has only a limited number of contacts in our warm market which consists of our extended family, relatives, friends, neighbors, ex-classmates and ex-schoolmates, business associates and contacts and colleagues.

So, what can we do when we run out of prospects?

The short answer is: Go and network consistently!

The Strangest MLM Secret

Ever wonder why one person succeeds and another fails in MLM?

Or why someone has massive success in a company, then leaves, goes someplace else, and never, ever again duplicates that success?

Or why some people spend 5, 10, even 20 years in network marketing with NO success … yet they never quit, either!

Or how an industry that does so many things so wrong can still be so popular …

This Information Can Change Your Life!

Back in 1991, my mentor was making full-time income from MLM. He retired from that company and actually joined over 100 network marketing companies in the next few years, to figure out how this industry really works: the good, the bad, the ugly. Here’s what he did:

1. Got on dozens of company conference calls

2. Organized & categorized companies, products, compensation plans, distributor kits, & marketing materials to compare each company with all the others

3. Studied their business models, to understand what kind of behavior certain business models drove

4. Studied how different “upline gurus” trained (or did not train) their people

This process answered all the mysteries.

It also revealed some valuable, valuable secrets about network marketing.

Example #1: The hard-driving, closing salesperson is about 8% of the population. And those 8% have convinced the other 92% that the 8% are right and the 92% are wrong. How did they do that? Because that is what they DO. It works for them, so they have total confidence that they are right, and when you feel their confidence, you KNOW they must be right, so you do what they tell you.

Ninety-two percent of the world’s population is sales-resistant. They do not like to be sold, and they do not want to become that pushy, aggressive salesperson that nobody likes. Yet when they join MLM, some upline leader tells them, “Make a list of your friends and family. Call them up. Get ‘em into the business. You need to hear 100 ‘No’s for every ‘Yes’.

Guess what? It still only works for the 8%. If you let them mesmerize you, you can wander aimlessly in the “failure” desert for years … maybe forever.

The Choice Is Yours

You can’t become something you hate in order to be successful. This model works for the 8% who are real salespeople. It’s a disaster for the rest of us … a very bad business model.

Example #2: Every person on the planet has to be educated in the skills of what they’re doing. Whether you’re a doctor, carpenter, plumber, ditchdigger … whatever you are … you’ve got to be taught the skills of that business.

“It’s not your fault! The people teaching you didn’t know any better. They weren’t bad people. They weren’t lying to you intentionally. They just did not know any other way to do the business.”

Do you think you can wake up one morning and say, “I’m going to be a doctor!” And you go down and join a company, get a distributor kit for 50 bucks, and you’re a doctor?

Of course not. That’s ludicrous.

How about a carpenter? No way. You have to learn pitches and square and level and plumb. You have to be taught the skills.

Yet people get in network marketing, and they’re told, “Call your friends & family.” It’s the biggest fallacy in the industry. Network marketing is not a sales business. It’s a teaching & mentoring business. When you build people, people will build your business.

Those upline guru leaders will tell you, “Well, you didn’t make enough phone calls. You’re a loser. If it’s to be, it’s up to me.”

Have you heard all that stuff? I’ll bet you’ve believed it, too, haven’t you?

You must do your business with people who WANT to be in business with you. You have to sell product to people who LOVE the product and want to buy it. That only comes through target marketing.

We learned early-on about target marketing. Only talk to people who have raised their hand and want what you have.

When you call them up, they could be in a company already. They could be working the business for a year or two or 5, 7, 10 years.

They’re divulging some critical information. The business is not working for them. They want to figure out what the problem is.

Network Marketing is about building RELATIONSHIPS.

PERIOD!

Getting More Done with Phone Prospecting

Many people can spend so much time just getting ready to get ready when it comes time to get on the phone and call some business opportunity leads for our business. Often the phone can become a one hundred pound weight and we do not want to pick it up. Well it does not have to be that way. Phone prospecting can be very simple effective way of doing business when we are in the right setting.

The first thing you want to have in place when it comes to prospecting by the phone is your attitude. You attitude is very import for your success on the phone. It is your attitude that can actually make or break you. If you have a good attitude it will come across and if you have a bad attitude it will come across on the phone.

Here are a few tips I have for getting more done and achieving more when it comes to prospecting by phone.

Set up your hours ? This just like any other thing in business needs to be done. If you do not schedule your time to sit down and make calls, then you will never get your calls done. Many people can just keep putting it off and putting it off unless they have it scheduled to make the calls.

Have a script ? If you are new and tend to fumble your words this is a great thing to have. The important thing to get out of this is not to be a robot or actor on the phone, but to have a plan for what you want to accomplish on the phone. You can have bullet points if that makes it easier. Just do not pick up the phone and not know what you are going to say to the prospect when you phone. If you have this by memory then that’s great, go a head and make the calls.

Smile ? smile on the phone when you call people because they can hear your smile over the phone. This sounds cheesy but its true.

Keep Stats ? This is something that people tend to forget to do. If you are not tracking your results then you will never know how far you are coming along and where you need to improve. You want to track stuff such as dials, the number of people you connect with, call backs requests, appointments set, sales, and Nos.

Be the messenger ? You want to have the mindset that you are only the messenger when you are calling people. You are not there to sell them on the first conversation. You want to only deliver the message to them, which is the information they requested from you. Remember that these prospects have requested and asked you to call them back with the information they wanted. You are not intruding on them. You are the messenger.

What Are Some Of The Challenges That You Will Face In Network Marketing?

When considering building a network marketing business there are a few challenges that must be conquered to help you with finally achieving success.

1. Getting help from your upline may be one of the most important challenges in determining your success. Upline support is incredibly important since most people who sign up for a network marketing program are new and need help getting started. Why would someone not want to help their downline? Maybe they just want to recruit more distributors or they could be new to network marketing also and thus not realize that their downlines success is going to help them be successful.

TIP: Before joining any network marketing program look for someone who is going to provide the resources and support that you need to succeed. It is well worth the effort and could

determine how well you do in building your online business.

2. One of the major reasons for avoiding network marketing programs is the fear of having to sell a product. Know what the network marketing pros do? They network.

Know your business, learn your business and when it comes up, speak honestly and with conviction and others will want to follow your example. Love your business and it will show.

3. Generating leads or prospects is one of the most important tasks of any business. One way to generate prospects for your network marketing business is to make sure that you are available to as many people as possible. A great way to create interest is to offer something for free. It should be something that continually reminds your prospects of your business.

Information makes a great free offer and can be offered by email or through a download. Of course, the information you provide should contain information about your opportunity.

TIP: You should not waste your time talking to people who have not expressed an interest in what you are offering. Generating good leads and then following up with them regularly is the only way to build your business without wasting time.

4. Duplication is the secret to success with any network marketing program. The majority of people new to network marketing have no idea what they should do to be successful.

Successful network marketers are able to create an easily duplicatable system of recruiting and then by passing it on to their downline they are sure to build a successful team.

5. Know your companies products! It can be very hard to explain to others what you are doing when you have no idea what your company or their products are all about.

6. Does this sound familiar? You sign up for a network marketing program with great expectations. You get all the information about the business, products, pay plan, etc. Suddenly you realize how much work this is, that you may have to actually sell something, and worst of all, you get negative vibes from your family!

Most of us do not stay with a program long enough to see any results. Avoid dwelling on getting rich and instead think about what your business needs to grow. Remember that consistency equals growth.

TIP: Refuse to give up! Ordinary people can become successful just by refusing to give up, refusing to get discouraged, and refusing to stop marketing for prospects!

No matter what others may say, success does not happen overnight.

7. Knowing what online resources are available to help you build your network marketing business is critical to success. Make sure before joining any program that your upline sponsor is willing and able to provide you with free online advertising resources. There is no reason to spend alot of money on advertising.

8. Avoid get rich quick schemes! If you see any claims of making thousands of dollars every month know that they are probably highly exaggerated and are just looking to take your money. You can get rich with network marketing but it does take time and effort, but remember that with the right support and resources you can build a profitable business.

9. Before joining any network marketing company use the search engines to do some investigation. Find out if the company that you are interesed in has a good reputation, and if their are any complaints. Another good resource are online forums. Chat with people who are already involved with the company that you are interested in.

10. Motivation is the key to building a productive team. If you are not focused and motivated then neither will your downline members! Call them, ask if they need any help, provide quality support and you will get quality results!

Success in network marketing is possible for those who are committed to doing whatever it takes and are ready to overcome any challenges.

So how exactly can you succeed at network marketing?

By finding a team with a duplicatable system that is easy to use and will teach you how to succeed, so you can then teach your downline how to succeed.

Why Network Marketing?

Perhaps a better question to ask would be “Why Not Network Marketing’”

Of all the various types of home businesses, Network Marketing has proven itself over the years to be the leading method by which the average person can achieve above average results.

Thousands of people, just like you, join Network Marketing companies every single day. Whether you’re only looking to make a few hundred dollars extra each month or create a large residual income, Network Marketing can help you achieve your goals.

“But what exactly is Network Marketing’”

Network Marketing is a method of moving products from the manufacturer to the consumer via word of mouth advertising. Instead of the middleman (wholesaler or jobber) taking his or her cut before moving the product to the retailer, the ability to earn that money is passed directly on to you, the Network Marketing distributor.

For example, a traditional brick and mortar business model goes something like this:

Manufacturer -> Wholesaler -> Retailer -> Consumer

The manufacturer creates the product and sells it to the wholesaler/jobber who then raises the price and moves the product to the retailer. Since the retailer is in business to make a profit, he too must raise the price. The end effect is that the consumer could be paying a lot more than they should be for that particular product.

The Network Marketing business model is somewhat different.

Network Marketing Company -> Distributor (You) -> Consumer

In this example you can see that the Network Marketing Company is selling the products directly to you, the distributor, and you move then on to the end consumer. This allows you, the distributor, to receive the difference in price from wholesale to retail, which would, in a traditional business model, be taken by the wholesaler and retailer.

But that’s only part of it. When you help someone else get started in his or her own Network Marketing business, you will receive an override, or residual, on the volume of business that person does, which can, in and of itself, end up being a large portion of your overall earnings.

“But I’ve heard that Network Marketing has a 95% failure rate.”

This is true of all small businesses, home and traditional brick and mortar, not just Network Marketing, but the figure tends to be incredibly misleading. People quit things all the time for various reasons, not just Network Marketing. Maybe they didn’t understand that Network Marketing does require work, or they don’t have enough time to build it right now, or possibly the time just isn’t right for them.

Whatever the reason people quit, they don’t want to admit to themselves why they quit, so they end up blaming Network Marketing in general or this or that company in particular. This is why Network Marketing gets such a bad rap in the media.

But thousands upon thousands of people worldwide are earning a portion of or a large part of their incomes directly from Network Marketing. So the business model does work’if you work it.

Whether you get involved with Network Marketing or not is your decision. I’d recommend that you keep and open mind, do your due diligence, investigate several different companies, and then make your decision, based not other people’s opinions, but your own research.

Why 97% of Online Home Based Businesses Fail

Recently I entered the online home based business world and it is very interesting, to say the least. Because I am involved in a couple of online businesses now, I am daily inundated with other online business ‘opportunities.? Some of the claims are just insane! They offer programs with small investments and claim that little or no work is required. They tell you that you will get rich in 30 days or less. Let’s be honest, for most of us, these schemes just don’t work.

True wealth comes from discipline and knowledge. It also comes by offering people valuable products and services in exchange for the money they are willing to give up for those products and services. It’s not rocket science, but it is a science. Whatever you do, don’t fall for those ‘get rich quick with no effort? programs. Rather get involved with programs that offer either valuable knowledge or cutting edge products and services’or both.

I recently became an affiliate of a program that I paid $697.00 to join. For some, that’s a lot of money, however, the knowledge that I am reaping out of the program is worth millions! You may think that I am exaggerating, but I am not. I am actually learning HOW to market online. Why do 97% of home based businesses fail? The main reason is lack of knowledge. You better know what you are doing when launching an online business or you will waste hundreds and thousands of dollars trying, or even worse’get disappointed and quit! This is tragic to me. The online opportunities are boundless, but what is lacking is the knowledge to make them work. I talked to a lady the other day and she invested a considerable amount of money in an online business and was totally frustrated. Her husband was chiding her for her failure. I could tell that she wanted to succeed, but she just did not know how. If you want to succeed, you must learn from those who have succeeded. I can assure you, that success can be duplicated. You just have to be willing to follow instructions of someone who has succeeded and put in the necessary time to become a success.

Another reason online business fail is the lack of mentorship. Too many program sponsors out there claim they will be there for you, but guess what’they are not. Why is this? Again, it’s the get rich with little effort mentality. People want riches, but are unwilling to pay the price to obtain them. Wealth comes from serving people. The more people you serve; the richer you will be’it’s that simple. If you want to be successful, call the person who is offering the opportunity. Talk to them. Listen to their voice. Are they genuine? Do they express care and are you convinced that they want YOU to succeed? If not, run! Get involved with programs that promote mentorship and encourage the mentoring of others. Why do you need a mentor and why do you need to BECOME a mentor? The reason is that people need encouragement and support. They need to belong to a team or winners. The world is full of negativity and 95% of the population is not success driven. Most are like processional caterpillars and just follow the crowd. Believe me, if you are striving for financial freedom and want to be in the top 5% of the income earners in the world, you will be swimming against the tide and you WILL need encouragement! Most are like cows just grazing in the pastures of life; few are rhinos who will charge into the dark forest on the path to success to reach the paradise that is on other side. Learn from great mentors and strive to be one yourself. The rewards to those who do so are unlimited!

Failure is also caused by laziness. Our society promotes get it fast. Most don’t want to labor, but like to take it easy (Does the lottery ring a bell’). Sure, many have a ‘desire? to be wealthy, but very few are willing to work for it. Listen, it takes work to gain wealth. I am not necessarily talking about physical work, but work nonetheless. It also takes thought. You must think. Learn to use your God-given mind and be willing to act on hunches. You must be willing to take risks and make tough decisions. It also takes time. My online business takes my time. I invest at least 2-3 hours a day on them and most of the time much more. I also, for the time being, hold a full time job! Don’t claim you want a successful online business and not be willing to put the time into it. If you don’t put the time in, you will be in the ranks of the 97% of failures. And don’t fall for those programs that tell your that you won’t have to do anything to be successful this their program. Just forget it!

You must also learn to overcome discouragement and temporary defeat. These two are just part of the process and cannot be avoided. If discouragement comes; set your mind on something encouraging. If temporary defeat comes; be thankful for what you have and how far you have come. Whatever you do, do NOT give up on your dream! I mean it. Don’t be cheated by adversity. These are just qualifying tests. You have to pass tests to get a college degree. You had to pass a test to get your drivers license. Well, you will also have to pass tests to become a successful business person. So get over it! Suck it up and get moving! Don’t feel sorry for yourself. You will succeed if you persist.

Speaking of being charged; don’t listen to the news and hang around people that are negative. Get around people that are success minded and positive. Forget about the ‘bad-news? papers. Read a good book like Mike Murdock’s, Dreams Seeds or Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich or my favorite, God’s word, The Bible. There are plenty of other great authors like Jim Rohn, Earl Nightingale, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, and the list goes on and on. Put CD’s in your player. Make your car a place of inspiration and encouragement. Don’t waste time dwelling on what you don’t have, rather focus on what you want. Surround yourself with success and you WILL be successful.

Finally, failure is because many ’so-called? opportunities out there have no value in and of themselves. They don’t offer products or services. They just move money from one pocket to another. This is nuts and will only lead to failure! Only involve yourself in businesses that offer real value, either in knowledge or products. Be proud of what you offer; use it yourself. Promote it every chance you get. If you are ashamed of it, get away from it!

If you want to break out of the crowd and be among the successful 3% of online marketers, do what it takes. Gain the knowledge. Find a good mentor and become a mentor. Promote a product or service that you believe in. Surround yourself with success. Be willing to put in the time and be sure to promote only valuable products and/or services. If you do this, you cannot help but succeed! I hope to see you at the top!

If you’ve read any of my other articles or visited my site, you already know that I am really into this manifesting thing. I find manifesting consciously to be intriguing, exciting and gratifying. Of course, don’t we all know that manifesting unconsciously can often trip us up!

About two years ago I decided I wanted an online business. . . and, wanted this business to be simple, easy, provide value and provide the potential to create lots of money. There were other desires and requirements, as well.

- No Meetings, No 3 Way Calls, No Calling Prospects, No Bugging Friends and Family. NO Picking Up

That 100 lb. Phone! You Know What I’m Referring To

- Duplication That Is Done by the Machines. . . Not By Me nor Any Other Human

- A Business That Provides Something of Value and Helps Everyone

- A Business That Anyone Can Do No Matter Their Status or Circumstances. . . Even Someone Lazy

Like Me!

Basically what I wanted to manifest was something entirely different than what I had previously tried, experienced and failed at miserably many times! I was whipped, beat to a pulp, discouraged, frustrated and truly desiring something different. . . a simple, easy, automated, 100% online business with the potential to earn tons of money ‘in THIS lifetime’.

I knew my desires and stated them to the Universe. I asked that what I desired come into my life and remained open as to just how it would come about. I expressed gratitude for my desires having been fulfilled. Additionally, I expressed, and continue to express, gratitude for ALL the good in my life.
