MLM Niche Markets - 7 Steps to Profit
What could be easier or more fun than talking to people with whom you share a strong common interest? Do you fly model airplanes? Collect stamps? Love the Cleveland Indians baseball team? You can always find a surprisingly large group of people online who share your enthusiasm. So now the goal becomes to build relationships with those people and turn them into your own MLM niche market.
How do you do that?
1. List groups of people with whom you share common interests or concerns. Do you love hummingbirds? Search Google. You’ll find hummingbird websites, and probably hummingbird forums and discussion groups and advisory lists. Find out where all the hummingbird folks hang out, and go there to hang out with them. Tell your own hummingbird stories and share your hummingbird expertise.
It is EASY to build close bonds in your niche markets, because you go in already sharing a love for the subject with all the other members. It’s easy for them to accept you and bond with you, and it’s easy for you to use a signature file when you make posts to the group … leading back to your MLM lead capture page.
2. If it’s a forum, read all the posts. Find out what your fellow hummingbirders REALLY want. If you read their posts, they will tell you. Make a list. What problems do they have? What hummingbird worry do they have that keeps them awake at night? Use your coaching expertise to ask and listen CLOSELY to what the market is saying.
3. When you know the problems, find the solutions. Go to Google. Ask Google a question with as much detail as possible, and Google will tell you. Also search a keyword phrase like “hummingbird problems filetype:pdf”. This will bring you a list of articles published in Adobe Acrobat, very likely to have a lot of useful information to your fellow hummingbirders. As you read the information in these files, you’ll get ideas on how to participate more actively in the forum, which gets your signature file read more often and which gets you more credibility in your niche market.
4. You will take an instant liking to certain members of the forum, based on their posts to the group. Most forums have a feature that allows you to email members privately. Write a “from-the-heart” email to people you bond most closely with, and always have a signature file in your email. Your goal is to build those individual bonds. Over time, some of those people will join you in your business.
5. IMPORTANT! Never bop anybody over the head with your opportunity or products. ALWAYS fly under the radar, using a signature file. Don’t make them feel they have to say “No” to you. Just let your link “be there” when they are ready to click on it and learn more about what you do. MLM is, as always, a volunteer army. Joining must be your prospect’s decision, so just give them the opportunity to know what you do and let them make that decision or not.
6. Look for every opportunity to strengthen the trust relationship with others in your niche market. Always be a “mentor with a servant’s heart!” That attitude will consistently and purposefully build the relationship with people in your funnel … which will greatly speed up your network marketing success.
7. Strategize from the beginning how you want your MLM niche markets to see you. Publicly endorse a viewpoint that you strongly believe in, regarding some red-hot subject in your niche market, and which is sure to be controversial. You will make enemies - but you will also make VERY strong friendships, and that is what will build your business. When you take a strong stand, the people who agree with you will love you for life.
