Former Chief Executive Officers Would Make Excellent Network Marketers
A network marketing opportunity would be an excellent choice for a retired or former Chief Executive Officer of a company to start and operate as their new business venture. A network marketing opportunity requires the same type of leadership that a C.E.O. brings to the table while running a corporation. The people skills of a C.E.O. also make network marketing a great fit. You would just have to get more used to holding meetings using conference calls as opposed to having an actual meeting in a building or auditorium once you first start out. Once your business grows you could begin to hold live meetings and run your business just like you did when you were in the corporate boardroom. The biggest difference between the traditional company and a network marketing business is that you wouldn’t have demanding or angry shareholders breathing down your neck criticizing you for your every move. Network marketing is by nature much less stressful to operate and you can build your business the way that works best for you.
One of the best features that I myself like about my network marketing business is the portability of it. All that you need to keep your business running is a computer and a telephone and since they are both portable you can take your business wherever you like. I have taken my business RVing several times and found that it never detracts from the mood of the vacation itself.
To find a suitable network marketing company to become part of you would have to first decide on what type of product that you wish to work with. Since the best network marketing companies, those with a DSA (direct selling association) membership are the most reliable you may want to start with them first. Make sure they have a tangible product to offer not just a service because most times the products are much easier to explain.
Look for a company with a pay plan that you can both understand and work with as you grow your business. Almost every network marketing company has a different type of pay plan. Make sure that you have it explained to you thoroughly before you join. A possible red flag would be that you can’t find someone to explain the pay plan or they say that it is too difficult to explain. Just move on to the next company until you find a pay plan that you can explain in three sentences or less. It shouldn’t be that difficult to understand.
Finally, the key person to your network marketing success is your sponsor. A sponsor is the person who signs you up into a network marketing company and it is their job to see to it that you get trained in both the practices of the company and the methods that they use to promote the business. If the sponsor that you speak with is new to network marketing but is enthusiastic give them a chance by asking to speak to their sponsor. You should be able to get to someone with experience without going too far upline. Interview the sponsor just like you would if they were coming to you for a job to see if you could work with that person and expect them to do the same. If they just want to rush and sign you up without disclosing any of their details just move on to someone else until you find a sponsor that you can work with.
Once you find the right network marketing company and the right sponsor you can begin to build your own thriving network-marketing dynasty.
